I usually wear a size 4 dress. I tried the small and the medium. The small was too snug for my liking all over and the medium was very tight in the sleeves. I ended up getting a large. Although very large in the body, the sleeves are perfectly comfortable and the length is better. The small sizes fit like the photo or tighter.

Cute dress, but it fit a little snug. The arms are definitely tight, as other reviewers have said, but not uncomfortably so. I am 5'4", 120 lbs. and ordered the small. It was surprisingly short (several inches above the knee). It also needs to be worn with a slip. All in all, it's a cute dress but I think there are better values out there.
The sleeves are too tight on this dress, so I'm returning it. In addition to this dress, I also ordered the Cassie and Kaleb dresses in the same size - the sleeves felt great in those dresses. (I already owned one Cassie dress and loved it.)
Cute dress, but its very thin and was a tiny bit tight in the upper arm. I ordered a small (I'm 5'4" and 119 lbs) and it fit well everywhere else. I had to return it.
The sleeves do run small even though Lilly usually runs big so order a size up and they should fit good and won't be as fitted in the body.
