Patagonia Down Sweater Reviews:

Not as warm/thick as I expected

We bought this jacket on sale in size 3T- purple. We were looking to replace a similar style REI jacket that we bought last year, which was an awesome green color, but it appears that jacket is no longer offered by REI. I thought this would be similar. It was more expensive than last year's REI brand jacket, but we bought it on sale so it was close in price. It is much thinner than the REI jacket, which makes it seem less warm, but being that I can't try it out for myself, I am not sure. We're opting to add a lightweight fleece underneath on cold weather outings to be sure she's warm enough. The nice thing about how thin/compact it is is that it's less bulky in the carseat and for running around.

Warm, lightweight, just a bit pricey

Great jacket, keeps kids toasty warm and packs down nice and small. You still need a shell jacket on top, as it's not waterproof. It's a bit difficult paying this much for a kids jacket, but if you go up to the mountains it's well worth it.

Perfect temperature!

Our 1 year old daughter stays very warm in this jacket, it's decievingly insulated. Also washes clean easily which is a necessity for a toddler's jacket!
