LOVE this coat!

After hours of research, I got this for walking my son to school on cold mornings. It is flattering and functional. Even though it's a longer coat, it is easy to get in and out of the car. It has plenty of room through the chest without being baggy. My only complaint is that cold air can get in at the wrist. It could be because of my mittens, but other than that it's perfect. I usually wear a size 8 pants and 10 top. The M is a great fit.

Great Coat!

This coat is so warm and comfy that I never want to take it off! I feel like I am wearing my comforter around all day. The only thing I would change is that I wish Patagonia would make the sleeves on their coats an inch or two longer. I got a medium for sleeve length when a small might actually fit me better.

Fits superb

Love the fit of the coat - flattering for a long puffy coat.

Warm, but not enough

I wanted to love this coat - great style, perfect length, sturdy zipper, nice details. However, the fit was a bit weird - tight across the chest, but looser from the waist down (the shape is a-line, but it was more than that). The sleeve openings (at wrists) were also too big for me, letting the wind creep in. I found this jacket to not be as warm as I expected - another brand was noticeably warmer. Sadly, it is going back.
