Snow Peak Titanium Bowl Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I use the titanium bowl for general travel, not backpacking, and it works great. I use a very small rolling pack that fits easily in airliner overhead storage, and am very careful about everything I take with regard to size and weight. The bowl, a nesting cup, and a spork fit very well in the pack and add almost no weight. It makes preparing a meal easy on those days I can't face another restaurant.

This bowl is listed at 1.6oz all over the internet, but I just bought it and it clearly says 1.85oz on the label. I weighed it at 1.90oz / 54g on my digital scale. Not a big difference from 1.6oz, but not a rounding error either -- just thought people should know the true weight, claimed and measured.

I use this for pretty much all trips I do from climbing to camping to backpacking. It is light as a feather and is so easy to fit inside a cookset or to pack with something else. It conducts heat very well but I love that in cold weather because it keeps my hands nice and toasty.

Donald Schmit at Backcountry.com on 10/02/2010

this was a great addition to my gear closet. Very light-don't even notice it, strong and easy to clean. The metal has some flex to it but takes a lot to actually change the shape. Be careful cause putting boiling hot liquids in this means you're not touching it til it cools off.

Use it as a dog bowl at home and while camping. bought two of them and they are light and tough and take up little room. really just a standard bowl, but super light because of the titanium.

I love these things! Very lightweight, very easy to clean, eat out of it, cook in it, nests in the Ti 1400 cook pot by Snow Peak. Awesome gear. Titanium.

Great bowl to take with you whether you plan on hiking through the woods or taking a road trip. Strong and durable, just throw it in your bag and go!

Eric at Backcountry.com on 09/23/2010

I like this bowl for it's strength & light weight. It conducts heat so well that it sometimes gets too hot to hold!

moroni at Backcountry.com on 07/09/2009

I'm not the strongest backpacker so every ounce counts "BIG TIME". Love the bowl & plate, and they cleanup really easly.

Negative Reviews:

I was under the impression this bowl was supposed to fit inside the trek 1400 however this is not so. Considering I had to order this from Australia because no-one stocks this gear over here I was dissapointed.
