Arc'teryx Stinger Pant -

The Arc’teryx Men’s Stinger Pant is a waterproof/breathable winter pant for skiing or snowboarding. Gore-Tex Pro material keeps the wind and water off while still releasing vapors from your sweat to prevent that clammy feel. Science. No worries, if you need to really cool off, unzip the thigh vents for a little breeze. The expedition fit leaves plenty of room for layers on frigid days but still dials in with a clean look. Keprotec patches at the instep provide protection from boots and edges, so don’t be afraid to play hard.

Like a honeybee to a flower, you're drawn to snow-covered mountains. When you're dipping and diving into the sweet nectar of fresh powder and mega jumps, protect your legs with the Arc'teryx Men's Stinger Pant. Gore-Tex Pro 3L fabric is guaranteed waterproof and guaranteed breathable, so you can zip up hard-charging ascents and not be a sweaty, sticky mess at the summit. A streamlined silhouette, rugged cuffs, and high-volume thigh pockets gives you power to play all day long.
Durable nylon yarns are tightly woven together to create a smooth-feeling, abrasion-resistant fabric. The DWR finish helps water bead on the pant surface, so with one quick kick, excess moisture goes flying. Nylon isn't known for compromising, and it keeps a fairly stiff upper lip so rocks and branches can't hurt the pant. The Gore-Tex Pro fabric prevents external moisture from ever reaching your skin, or your baselayer if its too cold to ski, um, freely.
Side thigh vents let you dump surplus sweat and body heat without having to take your pants all the way off. The e3D design keeps this pant simple and sleek without taking away any of your layering options. Cordura powder cuffs and Keprotec instep guards extend the life of the Stinger by protecting the pant ankles from crampon teeth, boot scuffs, and sharp edges.

Berg's Ski Shop
Arc'teryx Stinger pants have been protecting people on backcountry touring and deep powder adventures for many a year. Their durable, supple, and these GORE-TEX® Pro pants are pleasantly styled for lift-serve use, meaning they cut a clean, sleek silhouette while you cut clean, sleek lines in the more hidden corners of the mountain's recesses. Keprotec™ instep patches stand up against damage from boots and ski edges while you're seeking out steeps and riding chairlifts to peaks. Zippered thigh vents open to dump heat on the bootpack to a hidden cache of powder. An adjustable waist belt with snap closure sits close to the small of the back, so the Stinger fits your body as well as it suits your needs.

My dad has been looking for a new pair of pants to replace his old Patagonias for a while now. I got these for him, and they are PERFECT. He is tall and slim- 33 inseam and a 31 waist- and the size Medium fits him great. These pants do have an internal belt which is a nice feature as well. The side vents are great for dumping heat, and the material itself isn't too heavy. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these!

I've had these since 2009 and they look virtually brand new. I absolutely love them. They are totally windproof , waterproof, and bombproof. I wear an icebreaker 200 merino base layer under these and have never been cold. From Vail to Park City to Whistler I've never had a problem with these pants. Considering how they've held up so far, unless I lose them, I'm not sure if I'll ever need another pair of ski pants!

Love the zipper accents and built in belt. I did size up for a slightly baggier fit rather than the traditional Arc'teryx slim/Euro style. Super waterproof and very breathable.
