The Riot Snowboard is Bataleon's most technical of all its true twin snowboards. Billed as a freestyle deck, the riot is actually mid-stiff to stiff, so we would probably call it an aggressive all-mountain freestyle board. Most all-mountain boards are capable on most aspects of the mountain. This one makes the entire mountain feel weak, ineffectual, and completely emasculated.
The Riot's Twin TBT rocker provides plenty of stability when you need it, like when you're locking into presses. The profile mimics regular camber but with hard angles where regular camber is a continuous curve. At the tip and tail, the edges are turned up. This profile gives the board a playful feel but also powerful edge control when the edges are weighted. Bataleon's Core is poplar with hardwood reinforcements for a smooth medium flex and light weight. The Riot's true twin shape makes riding switch feel the same as riding forward, and Bataleon's Lightning edges are thinner than most, so they reduce the board's weight. Bataleon finished the board off with a sintered base for crazy speed.
