Tug on the Chrome Kursk Shoe, tuck the laces into the lace garage to keep them out of your drivetrain, and hit the road. The Kursk is a tough, cycling-specific shoe that moonlights as a simple pair of casual kicks. Thanks to features like stainless aglets (or lace end-caps for non word-nerds), the aforementioned lace garage, and a board-lasted sole, the Kursk will keep your feet protected and your bike rolling fast.

These shoes are pretty cool. The fabric for the uppers is super tough and I do not think that I will be wearing them out anytime soon. With the toughness does come some stiffness so they do take a little while to get broken in so that they move with your fit better. After a few weeks they fit and feel great. I took them on a 60 mile ride over the weekend and the performed admirably.
Love 'em. A good stiff sole, comfortable fit, quite water-resistant, tough and durable - what more could you want. They aren't real comfortable for walking in but that's to be expected.
They are great for what they were designed for, riding on flat pedals or cages. Walking is a different story. They are still not broken in at the heal and I have several blisters to show for it. I don't mind, I will heal. But if you are planning to walk any distances after getting off your fixie, put another pair of shoes in your messenger bag. These are definitely great bike shoes.
