lightweight, versatile, functional
Use these for boy scout weekends. Great for Spring/Fall when the temp swings between shorts/pants temps. Good length for size. Leg zippers are ok but not sure how long they'll last. I goofed and missed the "mesh inner liner". I cut it out--it's annoying when not using the shorts for water.
Did the job
Purchased pair for trip to San Miguel, Channel Islands National Park. Wet raft landing and a lot of hiking while on the island. Did everything I needed

Good pants. Inseam is kind of uncomfortable but they are very light and dry very fast.

Nice and light, makes into shorts, and can be used as bathing suit.

Close but not quite
Length is off a bit and so was the color. I initially ordered 34s but were too long and I am 6'-2" These were more like 33s but felt a little less roomy in the legs than the 34s I returned. Overall not a bad deal. Like the pockets for keys, chap stick, phone, knife etc. when going fishing. Dry quick. Interested to see how they feel on the water in the wimtertime.
Not really for hiking
I bought these for hiking, for which they are not really made for. They are made for fishing. That was more my mistake than the product; even though it did indicate they were for hiking. I would recommend to a friend looking for a lightweight fishing and some easy hiking to a fishing spot.
