The Outdoor Research Swift Cap. This cap is ideal for kids who are always on the move. Quick-drying nylon panels deflect sunlight and shed light precipitation while breathable mesh keeps heads cool. The foldable brim allows easy storage and won't get bent out of shape easily.
Keep sweat & sun out of your eyes with the Swift Cap from Outdoor Research. You're shaded from the sun by a rigid, shaped, plastic-stiffened bill while your head is kept dry and cooler with sweat-wicking Supplex fabric and mesh ventilation.
Perfect for runners, bicyclists and fast-and-light hikers, the Outdoor Research Swift Cap provides glare protection and excellent ventilation. Supplex nylon fabric has a comfortable feel and dries quickly. A mesh liner aids in ventilation so your head stays cool and comfortable.

This hat is light weight and super awesome. By awesome, I mean that it is super cheap for what you are getting. light weight, good at blocking the sun, eye catching, cool looking.
I accidentally bent the brim the wrong way and with some magic I quickly moved it back into place and i haven't noticed any problems with the brim.
I enjoy the fabric of the hat, a combination of mesh and a highly woven cover. I suggest taking this on trips when it is not moist/ wet/ damp/ soaking/ downpour/ sprinkle/ watery, because the top is open and the only real protection you would get is in your eyes, no top protection, more for venting, which is why it is super great for running.
I run XC for my high school and will wear this hat on those sunny shirtless days, I dont really like wearing my sunglasses while i run because i feel like it wobbles and bounces on my face. Hats stick better to your head and does not impede your vision as much. Great hat for the cheap price, good Baseball cap, I also plan on taking this up mountain climbing like Mt. Rainer.
First, let me say this is a great cap idea. It does a great job at letting air flow. The problem is the sizing. I have it sized all the way down and it is still a little loose in the wind. I wear a medium in other OR hats, but this is swimmingly large. I'm looking at replacing the strap design with Velcro, hopefully that will allow me to adjust it to an appropriate size.
I have two Swift Caps and love 'em so much I bought a third. This Swift Cap looks similar, but on closer inspection it is a slightly smaller cap. It still says one size fits all, but this is not so. The other caps fit me fine. This new cap is a skull cap. Less fabric on top with a longer tail at the back. Very disappointing!
