We went to the doctor one time with a stuffy nose, and they told us we'd probably need a plexus plasma thermagraph to clear things up. (We think that's what they called it, anyway, but we were heavily sedated at the time). In any case, 686 must've caught what we had, because they've named one of their signature freeride pants the Plexus Plasma Thermagraph and tricked it out with all sorts of features designed to keep you shredding through the worst weather and most persistent stuffy noses.

Fully-taped seams and an InfiDry 20K waterproof membrane are dryer than a mouthful of saltines, and 80g InfiLoft insulation in the seat and knee panels keep you warmer than a 102-degree fever. Sweating too much isn't an issue, though, because 686 hooked the Plexus up with inseam and crotch vents, and gave them an engineered fit, articulated knees, and a gusseted crotch so they flow with you like water. There's also a removable powder skirt waist gaiter and BOA-lace-compatible leg gaiters, to keep chill-inducing snow at bay and reduce cuff-fiddling if you need to adjust your boots.

The 686 Plasma Thermagraph Snowboard Pant is both an insulated pant and a shell pant. 686 put insulation in high-contact zones like the seat and knees, but left other areas as a shell to maximize breathability. This gives you that little blast of extra warmth that you need without overheating you. The Plasma Thermagraph Pants are also highly waterproof, so you can stay out in a blizzard and get fresh tracks. Air-Flo venting customizes the temp even further by getting you a quick blast of cool air when you need it.

686 Plexus Plasma Thermagraph Pants Review:

Reviews:

These Pants are super Wind & Water Proof & the fabric is pretty durable & burly against tears. I got the Black pair for the Sleds since I'm always spilling oil on myself as we prep the machines in the morning. My running boards are sharp & spiked for traction which suck for tearing pants up but these pants seem to hold up as well against tearing. Great pockets too for holding tons of Ish. The Boa door in the powder cuff is key too!!! That Thermograph Tech works great too, yet they are breathable when you are on the move!! This is a must have pant if your into tech dry & Warm gear for extreme conditions!!
