These are not only great for running, but great to wear to work as well. Eight to ten hours on my feet all day, and they do not hurt! I am very happy with these shoes. As far as fit goes, they have a rounded off toebox, lots of toe room, and great mesh ventilation that you can feel. These shoes hug the instep, which fit great for me. If you have high insteps, that may not be enough room and these shoes may not work for you. If you have flatter or narrower insteps, these will fit great. The arch support is very good, not extremely high inside the shoe but still feels excellent. The cushioning is thick and dense through the heels, and a bit softer (but not thinner) towards the balls of your feet. These shoes are worth every penny and I am going to buy a second pair.
I am athletic and have a difficult foot to fit--never mind plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. Asics Gels have been the best shoe for me. The Exalt is extremely comfortable with good cushioning, arch support, and lateral support and even accommodates my orthotics well. I cannot say enough about Zappos and their volume of offerings. I have been a Zappos customer for about 5 years now and their customer service is outstanding time and time again.
This is my first pair of Asics shoes. Most reviewers rated them highly so I had to give them a try. My other shoes were way, way overdue to be replaced and I was beginning to have my plantar fasciitis flare up again. These Asics fit me like a glove without any break in period necessary and my heel is already feeling better!
Amazing comfort from the start! I have plantar's fasciitis and this is the first shoe that completely relieved the pain! These shoes hug my arches in the best way possible. Feels so stabile and comforting, I wish I could wear them all the time. They even look great, too!
This shoe is great! The colors are bright and vibrant, I always get compliments on them. Comfort, A+ - I am a huge fan of Asics and this shoe is exactly why. Great cushioning and arch support.
