What really sets these apart for me is the padding already in the shoe makes it incredibly comfortable and even in thin dress socks. They have a bit more room when I'm wearing dress socks; however, it's nice in the winter to have the extra space for a thicker sock. They are not the fanciest, but they are a solid work shoe and can hang with a decent suit.
Very pleased with my new pair of Bass boots. They fit well, look good and broke in quickly. Unlike some other boots, there\'s no chafing on my legs. One slight regret is that they don\'t have replaceable soles/heels.
Being a bodyguard and often in a tux requires a secure shoe that has support for the ankle and excellent traction if needed but also fashionable. This is it!
