Maximize your workouts with the support and comfort of the CW-X Men's Stabilyx Tight. This performance-enhancing bottom features the Support Web to align muscles and ligaments for increased stabilization during high-stress sports for improved efficiency and performance. Compression in the tight increases circulation for more oxygen to the muscles and reduced recovery time. There's even core support for the hips, abdominals, and lower back. Made from CoolMax and stretchy Lycra with flatlock seams, it wicks away sweat and lets you move unhindered for the ultimate in hardcore comfort.
The Stabilyx tights provide optimum targeted support to the core and knees. They're ideal for runners, for activities with lateral motion and for athletes seeking CW-X's best form of knee support. The patented CW-X Support Web™ bands together the muscles and ligaments of the lower leg to stabilize the knee and reduce vibration for increased efficiency. The CW-X Support Web™ also harnesses the midsection, supporting the lower abdominals, hips and back to channel power through the core. Variable compression facilitates circulation during and after activity, minimizing lactic acid build-up so that you can be active longer and recover faster. Six reflective flash strips and reflective logo provide 360-degree visibility for nighttime activities.

I started using these for Ice Hockey & before I remembered to keep them in my hockey bag I would really miss them during games; honestly I felt weaker & more fatigued without them (especially in the 3rd period).
I've used them for backpacking now (females will be disapointed but I wear pants over them) or anytime I'm going for long hikes (esp with weight on me in a backpack or daypack)...they are an essential for these activities.
I'm not quite bold enough to be out on the town with these on (the few times I've gone running I wear b-ball shorts over them...sorry ladies!) but they do:
Give me the COMFORT & SUPPORT I so richly deserve & they are worth every penny (if you don't put them in the dryer & follow washing instructions) they last a really long time); definitely feel like I have an EXTRA LAYER OF MUSCLE every time I strap these bad boys on...HUGE FAN!!!
Also, if you can't decide on a size & are tied on CW-X's chart GO FOR THE SMALLER SIZE, you won't regret it, this is compression after all...YOU BUY NOW, trust me Broseph.
These aren't your typical compression garments! I haven't used this specific product myself, but gave them to a friend. He used them on his trek to the summit of Gannett Peak, WY, and will follow up with with more information on appraisal of them in a comment of his own.
A word on sizing; he falls into the grey area between small and medium, but because it is a compression garment, I went with small. When shopping for items like these, please keep in mind your specific body build and use common sense when measurements fall in the gray area. Additionally, it is important to ensure the knee area fits over the knee caps, so leg length should be considered carefully. When in doubt, try a pair on first!

My first pair of compression pants. They have been great so far, seem to be pretty durable, still look and feel new after 6+ months of use. I wear them solo when running around town and under nylon pants when hiking. I feel great the day after.
