I am not a triathlete by any means. I do however Ski, Bike and Hike alot. These are my go to "underwear" whenever I'm hiking, spring skiing, or just using them for muscle recovery from bike rides.
I have a couple of sets of compression shorts, and these are by far the most comfortable. I'm 6' 175lbs 34" waist and the Large fits me perfect. The crotch has a fleece chamois that is very comfortable to wear. I've worn these multiple days at work and they do no irritation to me.
I wish I had two sets, but at almost $90 a pop thats a little steep.
Haven't really tried other tri-tops but this one is just awesome. Tried swimming in it. Definitely feel the support. I don't feel the need to swear something else underneath. Will yet to try how it feels riding the bike with it but I would not expect to run into any problems. The material is thick enough for that purpose as well.
I'm converted... never thought I would run in compression shorts, but these are awesome. They are extremely comfortable and provide a lot of support, my legs feel great afterwards.
I wore these shorts for my first Ironman triathlon through all three disciplines and they were perfect.
Great Shorts!
