I use this everyday. You can cary skis with it, put your books in it, throw some climbing gear in it, or pretty much anything else that you would need in one day. Im also really impressed with how well made these are, especially considering the price. My only issue is It would be so much better if they made it just a little bit bigger, but its usually not a problem. Whatever it is your doing, if your just doing it for one day, this is the pack you want.
i have hiked with this pack touring, use it for work. it has great organization for food, water , boards, phones. also kept everything dry. shoulder straps are very comfortable and caused no problems even after several hours use
