Frustrating purchase. The shoes are very comfortable in every aspect but one. Right at the base of the big toe the shoe digs in while I walk, so that it drives the folded leather into my toe area and causes pain. Its a shame, since the support in the heels is amazing, as are the soles. The shoe is very comfortable with good cushion, but I think there is too much space above the top of the foot, even with thick or double socks it doesn't seem to help that area. Great shoes to stand in, but not to walk in.
