I have worn these under warmer base layers and they definitely help manage moisture and my body temperature. Extremely soft to the touch so they are comfortable to wear throughout the entire day while your moving. Lightweight and easily pack able definitely will toss an extra one on any trip longer than 7 days. I say they fit true to size but fit tight, that's how they are supposed to fit I assume.
