The Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX snowboard hasn't changed much since it flipped the industry on its head five years ago, so rather than mess with the winning formula, it's offered in assorted colors. That's good for you, because it makes it way less likely that you'll see a thousand people riding the same killer deck. OG Banana Tech rocker makes the ride downright telepathic. Magne-Traction edges give you get insane grip even on ice and hardpack. It's already won about a million awards for being awesome. Better yet, the people who build them are eco-conscious and shred more days a season than should be allowed. Strap into a banana and find out what all the fuss is about.
The Skate Banana is built on Lib's BTX rocker profile. Basically, that means that there's rocker between the bindings, while the tip and tail have the slightest bit of camber. The result is a loose, catch free ride that gives you enough pressure at the ends to charge hard. It gets better with Magne-Traction edges, which place seven strategic bumps along the edges. The bumps are bigger between the feet, which concentrates most of the grip there for a ride feeling that's more like a skateboard and less like standing on some old timer's skis. Plus it's a true twin, for unrestricted switch shredding.
The H Pop core uses fast growing, sustainably harvested wood for a board that's light, and snappy. Power Transfer internal sidewalls crank up the durability, and they're buffered by UHMW external sidewalls for impact resistance. The Teflon infused TNT base holds up to jibbing and runs fast even when you forget to wax it for a few days. Best of all, you can rest easy knowing that your snowboard was built with eco-friendly materials by snowboarders with jobs.
The Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Narrow is the original all terrain all conditions quiver killing freestyle banana/magne-traction series snowboard. The Banana rocker makes the Skate Banana loose and catch-free, able to press boxes, rails and jibs with the greatest of ease, and no-trouble turns when the rocker is pressed into the hardpack. The Skate Banana is slightly stiff at the tip and tail which increases pop and stability on big landings. The H-Pop core improves the pop and performance of the board and the power transfer internal sidewalls add to the pop as well. The Skate Banana also has too many awards to list. A great board all around.

I rode one of these a few years ago and had a great time on it. was super flexy and responsive and was a blast in the terrain park. I would not consider this board a beginner board, although it is not restricting for beginners.
