Lens fog is a performance killer, so Oakley developed a three-tiered defense.
First, they devised surge ports to control airflow. Second, they formulated F-3 Series anti-fog treatment. Third, they engineered a dual lens design to reduce fog with a thermal barrier of trapped air. Then Oakley took all that technology and juiced it with the precision of High Definition Optics® (HDO®), topping it off with a wish list from the pros: 100% UV filtering, impact protection that meets ANSI Z87.1 / ASTM F659 standards, durable urethane that stays flexible, and comfortable triple-layer polar fleece foam with moisture wicking. About the only thing you don’t get with the A Frame® goggles is fog.

The A Frame goggles have legendary performance in an iconic design. Oakley has devised a three-tiered defense system against fog buildup by including a formulated F3 treatment to coat the lenses, surge ports for improved air circulation, and dual lenses with a thermal barrier of trapped air which reduce any chance of fog formation. To push the envelope even further they have included the High Definition Optics built in to all of their lenses for the sharpest vision without corruption that will boost contrast and increase depth perception for unbeatable definition. They also have surpassed all standards for impact protection and have 100% UV blockage on all harmful rays. To offer a natural anatomical fit Oakley has engineered O Matter chassis to maintain a continuous seal and added a thick triple-layer of polar fleece foam to optimize comfort while it wicks away moisture. It also features articulating O Matter strap outriggers which help to evenly distribute pressure across the face either with or without a helmet. The A frame raises the bar on what you have come to expect from Oakley with exceptional optical performance, fit and comfort.

Too bad glare doesn't freeze. Snow actually brings out the worst of it, reflecting up to 90% of the sun's brightness. Conventional polarized lenses reduce glare but they also cloud your vision with haze and distortion. Oakley utilizes a liquid infusion process to achieve molecular level bonding with the polarizing filter. That's how they eliminate haze and distortion to produce the best polarized lenses on the planet.

This goggle combines the performance of Oakley polarization with the unbeatable clarity of HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®). It also eliminates lens fog with the airflow of ram-air surge ports, the chemistry of F-3 Series anti-fog treatment, and the thermal barrier of a dual lens design. You also get 100% UV filtering and impact protection that meets all ANSI Z87.1 / ASTM F659 standards. Comfort is optimized by flexible urethane construction and triple-layer polar fleece foam that wicks away moisture.

VR28 Polarized Lens: Medium to bright light. Cuts blinding glare while filtering blue light to increase contrast and improve depth perception in a wide variety of conditions.
Grey Polarized Lens: for very bright days.

Listen up, students; A is no longer for Apple. The venerable A has a new host – the Oakley A-Frame Goggles, the ultimate in fog-free winter riding. Two lenses with F3 Series anti-fog treatment and surge ports to allow optimal air flow? That sounds like a 100% on your test for seeing down the slope. Which is exactly how much UV protection the A-Frame has – 100%. Add in a triple layer of fleece foam for long-lived comfort and Oakley’s curve-setting High Definition Optics lenses for a bit of extra credit. Sounds like straight A’s to us.

The Oakley A-Frame Goggles keep A-frame tradition going strong with classic timeless style. The anti-fog treated ballistic lens helps to keep moisture from forming and turning to fog. The Plutonite® lens keeps your eyes fully protected from harmful UVA, UVB, UVC and blue light. Triple polar-fleece face foam keeps a cushy surface between you and the frame for all-day comfort. The Polaric Ellipsoid lens allows light to enter without distortion so you can clearly see that epic run.

Great Goggles

These are great goggles. I have not ever had an issue with fogging. Just make sure you don't rub the inside of the lenses if you get it wet. Just dab and let it dry on its own. They are also super durable. I've abused them and they still look good minus some very, very tiny dings. I have to make an effort to see those dings.

The only con I have is the peripheral field of vision. While not bad by any means, there are a few goggles that offer a wider field. I would definitely pick up another pair if my current ones need replacement.

Oakley A Frame Goggles

These are great goggles - I've bought several pair and have never had any of them break or wear out. Fit perfectly with my Carerra helmut. Ski.com had a great price on them so ordered

Typical Oakley Quality, AWESOME!
