This is my first time purchasing any climbing gear. Have only used it the gym thus far, but I love it. The harness is quite comfortable. If you are looking to get started yourself, I would seriously consider this package.

I think this is a really good kit for people just getting into climbing. I recommend you get some Metolius Super Chalk and the refillable chalk bag though. The kit doesn't come with very much chalk. And it is not the great of chalk.
This is a REALLY good starter kit. Petzl makes really quality stuff and this will have most everything needed to get started.
