• ST’ANNEAU sling—made from a combination of Dyneema and nylon, making it both supple and abrasion-resistant; 120 cm length has multiple uses: foot strap for self-rescue ascending, connecting the MICRO TRAXION to the anchor, or part of the re-direct in a hauling system

Traction and Grip:

• TIBLOC ascender—replaces the prussik or rope clamp in a hauling system or the self-locking knots in a self-rescue; angled teeth and self-cleaning slot ensure good grip on frozen ropes

Upper:

• MICRO TRAXION pulley—an ultralight, ultra-compact, device that can be used as a progress capture pulley or as a simple pulley; upper button allows cam to be locked in the open position; rope clamp works on muddy or frozen ropes; aluminum sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings provides excellent efficiency
