Wonderful!

I bought my PrAna Eco mat about 2 months ago and use it on average 2x a week for yoga. I love it.

If you are going from a thinner mat, this is a great step -- asanas that felt uncomfortable on my joints (especially with my knees) are no longer bothering me. I think it's the extra thickness of this mat, and my practice has improved for it.

Lightweight enough to carry, and the colors are great. Because each side is a different color, you can pick which side to always place down (though it's a tough choice). After 2 months, I think my mat is still breaking in, but I'm really happy that I bought it. I felt a little nuts for buying a nearly $50 yoga mat, but it totally feels worth the price.

nice mat

I've only been using this mat for a month, but it's doing well so far. It's still in one piece, and it grips well. Once I get sweaty my hands and feet start to slip a little, but that's to be expected. Despite this, the mat doesn't smell bad yet.

Negative Reviews:

not happy

I do yoga twice a week and loved this mat for about 6 yoga sessions - it provides a good amount of cushion for bony knees and elbows, top of head, etc., and it really was sticky. But since then I've noticed two problems 1) Little tears have been slowly appearing all over the mat - since it never gets exposed to sharp things, I assume this is normal wear and tear, which absolutely should not be happening after only 1.5 months of use. 2) As soon as my hands become the slightest bit sweaty, I start to slip. I can't hold a down dog/mountain pose for 2 seconds without my hands begining to slide away, totally destablizing me and causing a lot of frustration. This one is going back :(
