Remington Wads are great whether your shotgunning takes you into a blind or to the range. Remington has a one-piece shot cup/wad column that's tailored for your favorite load.
I use Remington SP-12 wads when loading lead shot because my Herco powder builds up more breach pressure when loading 1 3/8 ounce of shot. The design of the wad lessons the breach pressure when using Fed. primers. The wad will also handle this amount of shot in AA type of hulls.
Remington produces a 20 wad for 1 oz loadings. These wads are hard to find locally as other companies have stopped producing wads for heavy loads. Loaded in Remington STS hulls with 7 1/2 shot produce good patterns for ruffed grouse.
