Slumberjack Trail Tent 2

I bought this tent after going through a few Recreation classes in college and I wanted something of good quality and relatively cheap. I purchased this tent with seam sealer and the night I got it I set it up in my my dorm room and sealed all the seams so no water would leak in (just extra protection). I was very surprised in the build quality of this tent. I bought it for backpacking and canoe trips with my wife. I also use it for my Search and Rescue pack, it's light enough and small enough if you take it out of the bag it came in and fold it up. It is plenty big enough for two people and their dog. The vestibule is nice too. Haven't been able to use it since I just bought this winter and there is snow on the ground but we are excited to use it.

impressed!

ok, first of all i would like to say that cabelas is just amazing because this is probably the 5th order that actually came in a day earlier than it was supposed to. but now to the tent, the day i got this in they were giving rain that night, so i took out the tent and set it up in the yard. that night it came several severe thunder storms with heavy rain and extremely high wind and i went out the next morning and this tent was PERFECTLY DRY!!!! this tent was also very fast and easy to set up. thanks cabelas.

Great backpacking tent!

I bought the two person tent for backpacking, and it has not disappointed! It has withstood 25mph winds, and some severe rain. It is very roomy, and sets up quickly and with not much effort. I would gladly recommend this series of tents to others.

DO NOT buy this Tent

I am a country kind of guy. I go camping quite often. I purchased the Slumberjack 6 person tent about a year ago. I Took it out camping for the first time on Memorial weekend 2012. The tent was only set up for about 30 min.It was staked down and tied off with the rope provided with the tent A little wind kicked up and snap one of the tent poles broke. Thanks to some duct tape we made it through the night. My wife which is 8 months pregnant was not very happy.
