Fantastic Boot - 2nd Pair Owned

This is the second pair purchased. Love the boot....perfect fit. My foot grew as I am only 18. The first pair was purchased when I was 16 and lasted until I outgrew them. These are the only winter boot I will wear. Thanks North Face for making a fantastic product that lasts (I have passed my old ones on to my cousin who is thrilled to have them!)

Neutral Reviews:

Comfy boot but waterproofing falls short.

Bought these boots as a winter boot to spend the season working in Whistler. So far they have been comfy, warm and look great. Unfortunately they are not waterproof as claimed. Part of my work is cleaning pools so when removing the brushes and hoses you get a bit of dripping around your feet. From day 1 these boots have left me with wet socks at the end of the day. Also after spending 30 mins walking to work in snow yesterday I was also left with wet feet and insoles. Which is a shame because after spending $180 I'll need to buy a better pair of winter boots now. After a search online I can't find any other reviews where people have said they have leaked so maybe I just got a dud pair? Not sure if TNF warranty covers waterproofing.
