The perfect pad
This is really a great piece of gear. It is supper light, packs down really small and is as comfortable as it gets in the backcountry. Having purchased Nemo pads for car camping we much prefer the horizontal tubing over vertical models. I don't know about the earlier versions of this pad but we had absolutely no issues with noise or slippery surfaces. For my wife and I at 5'7" and 5'8" there is plenty of room. The pads, like most inflatables, are easily adjusted for firmness and are great for side sleepers. I really cant find a thing I would change. These are a great addition to our light weight back packing gear. I expect with good care, as light weight gear should be given, these pads will give us many years of service.
Great very lightweight sleeping pad
Great lightweight sleepingpad. I would add the Thermarest AirTap Pump inflator adaptor (connector and plastic bag to trap air) to help inflate the sleeping pad to save the "breath energy" after a long day backpacking. It works great.
