These pants do serve their purpose. They are very squeezy and keep everything in place and I really do notice the extra lower back support they give. I do not have much in the way of knee problems and I intend to keep it that way, so I cannot say much about their knee support. I can say that if I could do it all over again I would get the longer pants because the ¾ ones tend to ride up your calves and bunch in the backs of the knees. It is awkward having to stop running and pull them back down. As a side perk the multicolored stripes make me feel like an 80's rock star.
These feel wonderful on but pay attention to the pictures. They are see through which may or may not be ok with you. The waist band is also a little on the tight side compare to the other CW-X tights. Overall, they work wonderfully but they have some cosmetic issues.

Wanted to Like Them
I got the mediums. I am 5' 8" and weigh 160. If I was going to keep them I would exchange for a size large. I had to return them due to the fact they are see through in the front and back where your underwear are. They have nice styling but I didnt want to be running on the trail with my underwear showing. I returned them about 2 weeks ago and have not heard from the company if they received the return. That's too bad as it seems like a good store to buy from - not the best in communication though.
