Packing a little less volume than Camelbak's flagship mountain bike hydration pack but every bit as capable, the M.U.L.E. NV Hydration Pack is if you need a lot of water and plenty of storage, but also need to keep an eye on the amount of weight you're carrying. The M.U.L.E. is packing a full three liters of water and over 700 cubic inches of storage space. Camelbak's new Antidote Reservoir graces the hydration sleeve of this beauty, and it's loaded with features that make it easier to fill, easier to clean, and easier to live with.
The M.U.L.E. is more than just a big bag of water, though. From the advanced NV suspension system designed to keep the load away from your back to the fixed waist belt with easy-access cargo pockets, the M.U.L.E is a night-and-day improvement over your old hydration pack even before you come to the revolutionary Antidote reservoir.
The Camelbak M.U.L.E. NV mountain bike pack swallows up your gear and carries it effortlessly. Adjustable shoulder straps accommodate varying shoulder width with an easy width adjuster. There is space for your helmet, media pocket, and bike tool organizer pockets keep your essentials organized so that they are easily accessible during your ride. When the weather turns wet, you can use the integrated rain cover to keep your gear dry.
NVIS is the vented and raised back panel that keeps your back dryer for more comfort. At full speed, the padded waist belt and sternum strap keep your load from getting unruly. Inside, the Camelbak Antidote™ with Quick Link™ system will keep you hydrated. Several new features will also make life with our Camelbak much easier. The opening of the Antidote™ is the large and the quarter turn cap makes getting in and out of the reservoir easy. Internally, the baffle keeps your water from sloshing around and allows Camelbak to design a slimmer reservoir. Dryer arms are hidden, but when needed, extend the arms and drying your reservoir is simple.
An update on a longtime favorite, the redesigned CamelBak M.U.L.E. NV hydration pack provides plenty of gear storage and water capacity to let you enjoy the riding trails all day long.

I purchased this bag more as a universal all around smaller backpack. It has performed perfectly. I use it daily for commuting to work, but then on the weekends have used it for anything from long distance trail runs to smaller sport climbing approaches.
I have only owned this bag for a summer, but with everyday use and consistent overloading. I am very happy with my purchase. The bag is still in perfect shape, colors are a little faded after a few mandatory washes but that is to be expected when you treat gear as I do.
This pack is the best little hydration pack I think you can get for a day ride in the mountains! I would say the best part about it is that the soft dry pocket for electronics is great because it is padded enough that when you fall it will most likely not break them! It is not too big, not too small, its all around great!!! Picture will be coming! Love the color schemes too!
I have the older version of this pack, but I still love it. I use it for everything from hiking, to canoeing trips, etc. Great fit and venting, love the colors, can fit full sized 3L bladder in it. Zippers function great, cool compartment to keep all of the small stuff organized. Lots of room, overall great pack for all around use, or for the intended purpose of shredding mountain bike trails.
Holds plenty of water for a day trip. Has a LOT of storage space with a bunch of pockets. My only knock is that it didn't do to well in the rain. After only about 15-20 minutes in a light rain, the contents of my bag had gotten pretty wet. If you are just doing day rides or hikes and it wont be raining, this is a good bag for you.
