Adventures at altitude require awesome protection from the weather and the versatility to be ready for pretty much anything. The Columbia Lhotse Mountain II Interchange Parka delivers serious protection for intense experiences above the tree line. This three-in-one system includes a burly outer shell with Omni-Tech technology to shield you from the elements and a zip-in liner jacket with Omni-Heat tech and synthetic insulation.
I was hesitant about buying this jacket, but was very surprised at how well it worked. Purchased it as a daily wearer for midwest winters and I am pleasantly surprised. I most cases I can venture out with only a t-shirt underneath. My only complaint would be the placement of the pockets...they seem a bit too high to be comfortable. If you have a slightly disproportionate wingspan (5'9" tall vs. 6'1"wingspan) it may become annoying to reach "up" into the pockets. Overall a good jacket that keeps me warm...
This jacket is beautiful. I ordered per the sheet measurements, but I was afraid it would be to small (I'm 5'11 and 185 lbs) in the medium. It was, but just barely. I'm looking forward to trying the large out when it comes in the middle of winter. That will be the true test. I go to and from work in subzero temperatures and would really like a jacket that keeps me toasty. More to come...
5'8" 150lbs. Tried two sizes of this product, M & L. I wear M size on all coats and this one is no exception. The issue I had with the coat in both the M & L sizes is that it fits real snug in the armpit areas (it felt creepy to the point I couldn't wear the jacket). I tried it with a long sleeve shirt and just a summer t-shirt but had the same experience. I usually like my clothing a little loose fitting so I imagine if you like slim fitting clothes (the kind that look like their painted on), then the jacket wouldn't bother you. I really liked the jacket otherwise for the colors and technology but couldn't get over the fit issue.
