Foamtreads Boy's Nipper

I bought these size 10 slippers and their matching red youth counterpart in size 1 for my boys as replacements for their old cloth bottom slippers that were falling apart. Due to economical issues, we moved into a new house this past spring that is smaller than our last house. The house has only 2 bedrooms for our 5 member family, but has a nice, deep, dry basement to use as their toy room. Unfortunately, the basement is cooler than the rest of the house (as normal) and has a concrete floor. Because of the cold and the hard surface, I insisted that they wear their slippers whenever they go downstairs. Their previous slippers were inexpensive cloth bottom slippers gotten at the local Walmart. The soles fell apart in no time prompting me to look for slippers with a hard rubber sole. The hard sole on these slippers are great. I no longer have to worry about their feet being cold or the boys hurting their feet in the basement. They are warm and comfortable and provide excellent protection for our boys from our basement. And, as usual, Zappos' fast shipping is awesome!

Good fit for toddler feet that are cubby or have high arches - I tried three different pairs of size 8 slippers for my two year old and this pair was the only one without a wide elastic band across the top of the foot. It was true to size and a good fit for toddler feet.

Bought these for my 2 year old grandson...he loves them and wears them to daycare. He can even get them on by himself. And they are very cute looking.

My 2 year-old loves wearing these around the house. They slipped off quite easily at first, but once he learned how to walk in them, they've been fine.

Gave these to my grandson for Christmas. Fit and quality excellent. Easy on and off for active 5 year old.
