The Never Winter Sleeping Bag is Marmot's lightest 30-degree, 650-fill sleeping bag. Marmot crafted this three-season bag to provide a little extra warmth for those particularly cold late-spring and early-fall nights, and Marmot stuffed it with a rich set of features that include down insulation, stretch-construction insulation baffles, a roomy, trapezoidal footbox, ground-level side seams, and a hood design that's shared with none other than Marmot's expedition-worthy 8000m down jacket. Both the shell and lining feature a water-resistant coating to help you stay dry in the event that your tent springs a leak, but otherwise the Never Winter is ideal for dry climates and conditions. Marmot also offers the Always Summer, which is a few ounces lighter but also not as warm, and it offers 30-degree sleeping bags in the 800- and 900-fill variety (the Hydrogen and Plasma respectively), but the Never Winter hits the sweet spot when it comes to weight, warmth, and overall value.

Mountain Gear

Take the chill out of the summer night air with the Never Winter +30 sleeping bag from Marmot. Using +650-fill down, this sleeping bag is light weight and easily compresses to fit into your pack. The roomy mummy cut on this bag gives you some wiggle room so you can sleep however you feel most comfortable. A trapezoidal footbox allows you to sleep with natural foot position without compressing the down and losing heat.

Marmot Never Winter Sleeping Bag Reviews:

Reviews:

I have only been able to use this bag once since I purchased it this fall. The night I had it on the ground it really did well at keeping me warm though the low was only 42 degrees F. I love the light weight of this bag and how small it packs down. This is a killer summer bag for areas that will not get below maybe 33 degrees F or so. The quality is awesome and this bags looks as though it will stand the test of time.

My wife and I each bought this bag. Mine is a long/right zip and her's is a regular/left zip. We zipped them together and had more than enough room. My initial impression of the bag is very positive. It is lightweight and compresses nicely into the included stuff sack. It's also very warm for a 30 degree bag. My wife rarely gets too warm and she had to unzip to keep cool. This will be nice when the temps get cooler.
