It's an ok vest - basic - decent quality
This is a very basic down vest, hand warmer pockets, no chest or interior pockets - this can be good or bad depending on what you're looking for. It works well under a shell skiing, and it packs small into it's own pocket. Having extra chest pockets can be handy, but also less comfortable and not so packable. Although it's 800 fill down, it is very thin. Warm enough under a shell but not super warm to wear alone when it gets really cold. I would be disappointed if I paid full price, but I purchased at a significant discount and am satisfied enough - I would prefer it to be just a bit warmer, but not too much puffier.
