Rode in these for a year. Comfortable immediately. Fit true to size. Typically have pressure issues with bony ankles, not with these. Inside lace and Velcro hold down work perfectly. Outside lace tends to loosen from the arch up - each lace clip locks individually. These are perfect for my go-anywhere style here in Colorado. This is the best fit, best comfort, best preforming boot I have owned. Use with Salmon Chief binding on a Burton Custom X board.
Loved the old style Malamute minus the locks to keep the laces tight they kinda sucked. The new Malamute is a better product of the old . The new lace lock system works well. The boot is comfortable right out of box. No heat molding necessary. I'm a 10.5 I went with a 10.
I bought these to replace the Ride Insano boots, and these seem like the boot of all boots. Right out of the box they fit true to size and I had no pressure points. Took em out for a 6 hour tour as soon as I got them and they worked great
