Smith Scope Goggles -
Smith Scope Goggle: the scope of this operation has been scaled down to provide you with the essentials to battle the foggy mess synonymous with snow goggles. The Scope Goggle takes a minimalist approach its mountain mischievery (just made that word up); a dual lens with Airflow Ventilation, Articulating Strap Positioning System, and compression-molded Hypoallergenic Face Foam encased in a helmet-compatible design with Custom Full-Frame and strap graphics. Style, comfort, and visual clarity… that is all one needs from a snow goggle, and the Smith Scope Goggle delivers.

Lining and Layers:

  • Cushy single-layer face foam offers a good seal against your face

Fit:

  • The Smith Scope snow goggles fit medium-size faces and come with a microfiber storage bag
  • Articulating Strap Positioning for good fit with a helmet

Ventilation:

  • Dual lens design and Airflow ventilation ensure you can shred hard without suffering from excessive fog
  • Dual lens with Airflow vents in the brow, increases air circulation to keep the inner lens dry and fog free
  • Semi-porous foam filter between the vents prevents snow and moisture from getting inside the goggle chamber
  • Vents at the top of the cylindrical lens help combat fogging

Frame:

  • Urethane frame flexes with each facial movement to enhance comfort—shape seamlessly fuses with your Smith helmet
  • Custom full frame and strap graphics

Weather and Wind:

  • Compression molded face foam is hypoallergenic and seals out wind and moisture for maximum comfort

Straps:

  • QuickFit strap adjustment system with Clip Buckle
  • Articulating strap distributes pressure to ensure a complete seal against the face, with our without helmet
  • Ultra wide strap that is silicone backed for non-slip on shiny helmets
  • Silicon backing keeps the adjustable, quick-clip strap stuck to your helmet or hat
  • Extra-wide adjustable strap is backed with a silicone bead so it stays in place on your helmet

Features:

  • Hypoallergenic face foam is gentle on skin
  • Helmet compatible for the ultimate protection
  • Protective goggle bag included
  • Mirrored lens won't leave you praying for better clarity
  • RC36 lens tint combines rose and copper base tints to improve depth perception, increase contrast and cut glare in all conditions; allows 36% visible light transmission

You don't need goggles with a built-in espresso-maker that rivals the cost of your skis, but you also don't want goggles that fog up at the mention of a flat cat-track. Check out the Smith Scope Goggle.

An Articulating Strap Positioning System gives you a good fit against your face when worn with a helmet, and a dual lens with Airflow Ventilation should keep you fog free. Smith Scope Goggles Reviews:

Reviews:

Sturdy, simple goggles that fit well on my fairly narrow face. Mine have a non-mirrored, rose-colored lens--I use them more for snowstorms than for sun--so I can't comment on any of the mirrored lenses. I wish these goggles had a separating clip on the head strap--my old Smiths, ca. 1987, did, and would still be in service if their foam padding hadn't disintegrated from age--but otherwise they're just what I was looking for.

These are comfortably shaped, because of the single-curviness in the glass. That makes them an easy-fit, compared to some Oakleys or Dragon goggles. I can wear them aaallll day, without getting marks on my high cheekbones.
Their medium size is right, and it means that you get your eyes covered, but not your whole face (nose).

I haven't taken them out on the slopes yet but they are very comfy and fogged yet. They fit well with my Holt helmet. I have a small head and I still find these comfy.

These are pretty good googles. I take them along as backups on longer winter or ski trips. Good visibility, and the fit is just right for those of us with smaller noggins.
