"Better Than Naked" understated
I recently bought a pair of these to replace a pair of last years split version that I had been using. A few differences that I have noticed are the gel pockets on each side at the back are larger and have two openings each vs last years had only a single opening and were noticeably smaller. The zipper pocket on this years model is smaller than last years, though I can still fit an iPhone 4s inside (albeit a tight fit). I also like that this version is shorter than last years split short. The split short felt too long and due to the split the flaps kind of got annoying as you were running. Overall a fantastic pair of shorts.
I ran a little over 5 miles in them the first day they came in and AMAZING is all I can say. Normally i am sweating up a storm and my shorts pay the price being slick with sweat. After the run I noticed that they were dry to the touch even after my cool down. Also during the run I did not have to have that annoying feeling from your shorts after the downward strike and the fabric does that little tug. I could not have been happier at all I was so impressed with the shorts I ordered 3 more pairs.
I love the fit of these shorts. They are comfortable while running, and the pockets are perfect for holding a few small items on the run. Only downside I noticed was the shorts starting to fray after a couple of washes.
