Bought size 3 for my 7yo. He wears a 2.5 shoe. Ended up returning and ordering a 4. They fit great now. They seem to run quite a bit short and narrow. So just over a full size larger seemed to do the trick. They seem nicely made, and don't have a horrible removable liner which is no fun for kids.
Great boot. I chose this one for my son, who is a kindergartner. I wanted a boot that was one piece so it wouldn't get flung about at school. My son loves these boots and prefers them to shoes when we go outside with snow or without.
Very nice boots for kids! My 8 year old loves them, very rugged and comfy at the same time. Fit true to size.
Negative Reviews:
The shoes felt great in my hand and seems nice and roomy in the foot but they were way to narrow around the ankle. It was simply impossible to get these shoes onto the feet of my 3-year-old even though they were size 10 and he is currently wearing size 9. (He has a slightly higher foot but does wear normal standard width shoes otherwise.) Surprisingly, there is no extra material as "give away" under the closure and the shoe does not become wider at all when "open." The inside material (fleece) gives a lot of friction with socks which added to the mission impossible to get these shoes on even with relaxed toddler and my hands being warm - can't imagine to handle these with cold hands! Liked the model otherwise and seems to be a quality construction but I was looking for a boot to wear and not one for the shelf, returned.
