Freezing hands can kill your motivation for a morning run and send you scurrying right back into the warmth of your bed. The North Face Runners Gloves comes with Apex ClimateBlock traps warmth around the back of your hands where you need it while letting your palms get plenty of fresh air so they don't overheat.

Given their name, the gloves achieve their goal of being a runner's glove. The backs of the hands are protected effectively from wind, while the palm is very breathable. The lack of any padding or reinforcement for the mesh on the palm makes this a running/walking only glove. The index fingers do have etip and work with my iPhone without issues. The palm-side pocket is a good idea, but the opening is very small, and only a very normal sized house key will fit. Anything larger than typical (i.e. car key, etc) will be difficult to get into the pocket without damaging the glove I think. Good for temps into the teens Fahrenheit. I was exactly between a small and medium on the sizing guide and went with a small for better fit.
These gloves are great for running in early spring or fall. For me my hands are my weak link when running so I need a full winter glove when the temps drop below 40 degrees but for all other temps these are perfect.
One note is I followed the size guide when ordering and purchased an XL but had to return for a larger.
I purchased these for my 10 year old son. The size was completely off. They were super tight. At the right size they would probably be great.
