First Impression: The Fulton Sunglasses by Von Zipper are lightweight durable and offer 100% UV protection. The Frames are hand-made and the stainless steel hinges are solid and well designed. I like that the frames are light and rest comfortably on my face. The fit of the glasses are snug without pinching my temples. There is nothing worse than having your glasses give you a headache. The tint of the glasses is a medium tint, which is good in all types of lighting. They have a stylish look that is both classic and contemporary.
Weight: Light weight, with even distribution across the face and head.
Construction: Heavy-duty plastic frames with stainless steel hinges and plastic lenses with 100% UV protection.
Style: The Glasses have a stylish look and I received several compliments on the glasses.
They look similar to the sunglasses the Blues Brothers wore in their films and TV appearances.
Field Testing: The glasses worked well when hiking, biking and general daily use. The Fulton glasses are durable and comfortable. The fit is perfect and I didnt notice any slippage during testing.
Overall Impression: I feel for the price these glasses are a steal. Having lightweight comfortable glasses with 100% UV protection is a perfect fit for anyone who is active and on the go. The stylish look is classic and will go with casual or formal wear.
The glasses held up in all types of weather and lighting conditions.
For those of you with bigger heads go with the Elmore by Von Zipper, which is a bigger version of the Fulton.
Seriously the sickest and most comfortable sunglasses I have ever owned. For the longest I had a pair of Ray Bans and didn't think I would be able to find anything to top those. I was wrong! I bought the Battlestation Black/Gold Glo and I am in love. The lense is super sweet and can wear them on the brightest days and on super rainy ones. They sort of make everything glow and seem like a sunny day so it makes those crappy days seem a little better. The things I like most about them is that they are a light weight frame, they don't squeeze the side of my head, and that the lenses are mirrored and no one can see my eyes when its sunny out. I really want another pair so I have a pair to wear day to day and when I am out on the slopes when I don't want to wear my goggles. Just have to save up for another pair I suppose! I definitely recommend them and would suggest these over anything I have previously owned.
I tried these on in all the frame colors available from backcounty. The frosteez are some of the best looking frames I've seen in awhile. However, the lens are lighter tinted than I like... The size also fits my smaller face which is nice since I feel that at lot of the stylish glasses are too big for me. I wanted the glossy black ones which were not available, so I'm waiting it out.
These glasses are probably the best pair i have ever owned. I used to rock Ray bans quite a bit but once I got hold of these VZs i didn't want anything else. They are light weight and have excellent metal hinges that you can tell just by their construction are made to last. Highly recomended.
I have thus far really enjoyed these shades. They are a great fit for a medium face, are very comfortable, and seem to be very durable. The overall quality is great and the frames have a very classic look. I honestly don't have a single complaint about them! Very satisfied and would highly recommend.
Great shades. They are a little tight on larger faces but other than that they are totally solid. These are my fourth pair of Zipper's and I have never been disappointed by them. Bombproof construction and very high quality lenses.
