I have multiple colors and sizes of these types of bags, always handy... I have printed out a laminated card that I keep in my top pack of my backpack which tells me what stuff I have stored into what different colored bags and use these same colors every time I go backpacking... this way I don't have to try and remember or dig for the kitchen stuff or fire starter or first aid, etc...
Durable and lightweight with multiple uses. Use 1) Keep your dirty clothes from the clean ones. Use 2) Stuff your coat into the sack and use for a pillow. Use 3) Pack food and hang from a tree to keep the critters at bay. Use 4) Anyone need a trash can? Use 5) Stuff whatever stuff you want to stuff.
Toughsacks will come in handy to carry things in the boat this summer and stash in the glovebox. Glad the size is small enough for that. Will hold a camera, keys, and loose change, all in one place with ease!
They are certainly built tough. I pack in my 3season tent without worries of this sack bursting. I recommend them, but I wish we get to choose the color.
I have a bunch of the smaller sizes that work great for keeping stuff organized and packing. Nothing fancy, but they do what they're supposed to.
I just received my Toughsack (size #1) along with an assortment of Sea to Summit Seam Sealed stuff sacks. I was expecting to like the Sea to Summit ones better, so I got more of them and only one of these. And, well, I was right. The Sea to Summit stuff sacks are better designed, waterproof, and they seem just as tough. And they're practically the same price. So, although the Granite Gear sack is fine for a simple stuff sack, why not get a lot more for your money with the Sea to Summit ones?
