Helly Hansen Dry Stripe Crew Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I'm embarrassed to admit how many different brands of base layers I've spent my hard earned money on. TOO MANY. My favorite by a long shot is HH. It's the perfect base layer. Helly Hansen is all about quality for sure and this is warm and wicks away moisture as well the rest but what I appreciate most, is the fit and finish. It's got a trim, athletic cut and the material has a smooth, slippery quality to it so it fit's really well under anything (including fleece) and isn't that what your base layer is supposed to do. I've retired all my other base layers to the work shed and now I only wrap myself in HH.

I have plenty of different brand base layers and thermal shirts. Time after time, I'll sift through the laundry to find this one. I've had it now for about 4 years, and its still good as new. I finally ordered a few more tops this year for the upcoming winter. Fit is great, athletic style, close to the skin. I use it for winter bike riding (in Michigan, not some semi "cool" southern state) and it really does great at keeping you dry and warm.

I love the HH lifa layers for their simple but attractive warm design and tight fit. For a single layer that can breathe normally my first choice, though longer trips often require wool that doesnt hold odor so bad.
For some reason- probably the hole spacing- these melt much easier than other synthetics, so if someone else borrows one or does your laundry be careful.
If I can find a flannel print one in the US everything will be perfect.

This is probably the best baselayer I have ever owned. Leave it to the first of the base layer pioneers to be the best. The lifa fabric is light but durable and keeps you dry in almost any conditions, especially cold. This shirt is my top of the list for any strenuous winter and fall activities for it's comfort, wicking and thermal properties. Not to mention the stripes are BA.

This was a great purchase. The material makes the top lightweight but keeps you dry. This fits nicely against the skin and holds up on hot days as well as keeps you warm on cold days. Great purchase!

Keeps you warm and keeps you dry just like it says. It is clutch for the slopes. Rock it under a softshell and you've got all you need for most days. Great buy.

I bought one of these in the short sleeve and long sleeve versions, both are incredibly relaxing. The material is amazing and is perfect for baselayers. Highly recommend!

Great top for all activities where I use it as a base layer or stand alone in cooler, dry climate. they run small, so size up

This thermal kept me warm and dry on the slopes. Absolutely no complaints here. This one is a great buy especially on sale.

Nice material and extra light and airy. Has been tested in the humid environment of Australia. Will soon be tested for Everest basecamp.

Negative Reviews:

Good body hugging fit, but the material is a bit THIN... I can see my chest hair underneath. Maybe it's only the WHITE color that have this problem??
