The best pants ever!

I bought these to take to England for hiking and trail running in somewhat rugged and exposed conditions. They were perfect and beyond expectations. The temps were in the 50ies and 60ies, it was windy, and it rained daily. The pants are windproof, comfortably warm, water resistant, and even if the rain got through on one occasion, I remained warm. And they looked good enough to wear for casual dining in English pubs.
I practically lived in those pants for two weeks, and at the end of those two weeks they looked as good as new - not wrinkled or crinkled or stretched out; that was almost the best part about them!
I liked them so much that after a week of daily use I ordered another pair online while still in England.

Great pants

I've been pretty pleased with these pants overall. They're comfortable and made of good material, the zippers work great, etc. It's been winter so I haven't done much outdoorsing yet, but I have every confidence in them when I do. So far I've just used them as a casual pant.

My biggest complaint is the lack of left back pocket, which I actually do use quite frequently and miss badly. I would give 5 stars if they hadn't skipped out on this.

As to the fit, I'm pretty tall (6'3") and I generally buy jeans in a 34" inseam/32" waist, which is not a size you find often. These pants do fit in the waist, but very loosely. It's not a huge problem.

Great 3 season pants

I ordered the 30 " inseam to match my usual dress pants and they fit well. Great for fall, winter hiking, snowshoeing and not bad for a ski tour either. No gaiters but with the calf zip and the elastic draw string they gibe a tight seal over my Scarpa Maestrales. For some fat boot cuffs you might want gaiters. A bit light for heavy storms, deep cold and high ridge top winds in mid winter.

I would buy this product again.

First season, so they haven't been put to the test durability wise, but have used the pants for a summer's worth of alpine hiking without problem. As comfortable as wearing shorts, without bugs or sunburn issues.
