Marmot Scree Softshell Pant -

Your mountainous lifestyle knows no bounds and has no restrictions. That's why the Marmot Women's Scree Softshell Pant complements your year-round active pursuits. The M3 Softshell fabric that makes up this pant is Marmot's most breathable fabric in the M-series. The durable nylon fabric makes sure you don't tear the pant up while you tear the mountain up. And a bit of elastane gives all the mobility you need so you don't have anything holding you back. This softshell sheds water, too, in case you come across a rain shower during your adventures.

An athletic fit pulls the Scree close to your legs and waist to reduce bulk without hindering mobility. The elastic waist is harness friendly, and  ankle zippers help you put on and take off this slim-fitting pant even with shoes on. And the thigh pocket can hold your phone so you have room for your hands while you enjoy the view on top of the mountain you love.

Marmot Scree Softshell Pant Review:

Reviews:

I purchased size 8 in the 'long', because I am 5'10" and I always wear jeans size 6 or 8 that have a 34" inseam. The long version is supposed to be long, isn't it? When I tried these on at home I was so surprised. They are not long at all, they barely brush the floor. I'd say they are cut like a inseam size 32" at most. Also, I bought them for spring backcountry touring. They do not fit over the boot, even when the zipper on the bottom is open. Not even close. It's definitely not a good backcountry ski product. The material is quite thin too. I don't think I would ski in them. If I was shorter I would consider them for fall/spring hiking, etc., but I tried them on with hiking boots and they didn't look long on them either.
