I have the older version of the Foray that is gore tex paclite. I love this shell. $90 on SaC for a sub 1 lb. gore tex shell is tough to beat. I am 6' 175 lbs. with broad shoulders and I got the Large. It is baggy for sure, but I live in Denver so I use it in the winter a lot and it allows lots of room for layering. I wear a Patagonia down sweater under it and I still have baggy armpits. Looks like they made the hood bigger this year to accommodate helmets, but I wouldn't choose this thin shell for activities that require helmets as you are likely going to rip the lightweight material. I have been very careful with it since it is a thin material, but so far- no issues. Love the poncho style vents for backpacking in the summer. If I could afford it, I would spend more for a more breathable shell for backpacking, but I am very satisfied with the year round performance of this bargain gore tex shell.

Negative Reviews:
I've had this shell for a couple years and I have to say that it stinks. It doesn't leak, but it doesn't bead water in heavy rain at all. this is called "wetting out" its when the water saturates the outer fabric. This destroys the breath-ability of the jacket, because the Gore-Tex will not breath through drenched fabric. So it might as well leak because after an hour of uphill summer hiking in the rain you will be completely soaked with your own sweat.
I've tried to reapply DWR and it doesn't take it. Its almost like the weave is too widely spaced for the DWR molecules to do their thing and repel water which is weird, and I don't like it.
This jacket is listed as "guaranteed waterproof" yet the very first time I wore it in the rain, it leaked. I wasn't soaked but some water definitely got in, especially through the seams on top of my shoulders which got the wettest.
In keeping with what a previous review said, the outer fabric didn't bead water off at all it just soaked it right up. Makes me think the jacket doesn't have a DWR treatment. I suppose I could do my own DWR treatment but call me crazy, when you spend nearly $200 on a "guaranteed waterproof" Gore-Tex shell, you'd expect it to come with a decent DWR treatment.
Really disappointed with this jacket. Hopefully Backcountry will take a return.
