The North Face Boundary Triclimate Jacket Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I bought this jacket for my 10 yr old daughter. We both absolutley love it!! Great fit, easy to clean, quality product. The 3-in-1 is always great to have. No matter what the temps are, you always have the perfect jacket. Sometimes she wears the inner liner alone or just the outter jacket and she's still warm either way. The Razzle Pink is really beautiful and vibrant. I wish this color was available in womens. This is the 3rd North Face jacket I purchased from Back Country and they are all equally great. I highly reccomend this jacket.

I got this for my daughter. She has worn it a few times in the freezing temps and in the snow. It keeps her warm and dry. I like that it has the snow skirt inside to keep snow from going up her back if she wipes out skiing or sledding. I bought it one size larger than she normally wears so she has room to grow, and it isn't too huge.

The down liner definitely adds warmth!

My daughter loves loves loves this winter jacket! The main reason she loves it is because she stays warm. She ski's everyday with her school and always stays warm. The down jacket liner helps out a lot too because she wears the liner and insulated jacket separately. She does get both jackets dirty a lot so they're washed/blow dried every few weeks so it stays clean.

This is the second one we've purchased for my daughter (she outgrew the first one). She loves the fit, and that the jacket looks like a girls jacket without being pink.

Negative Reviews:

Shell tore after wearing in the snow 2 times

My daughter got this coat for her birthday in November 2012. She has been wearing the inner layer to school everyday. We have received 2 snowfalls, so she put on the outer shell to stay dry. After wearing with the outer shell while playing in the snow I noticed it had two tears in the arm. I usually buy my kids coats on the larger side so they can wear it more than one year. Her previous coat was a Columbia that she wore for 3 years, and I NEVER had any tears in it. SO disappointed in the quality of this jacket. It will be my last North Face purchase...

Gets soaking wet in the snow...

It get soaking wet when my daughter is in the snow. When we were on vacation this jacket got incredibly wet...kinda like it just came out of a washing machine cycle but didn't go through the dryer. Thankfully a person from the laundry room brought my daughter in the laundry room and had her take both her winter jacket and snow bibs off. He tossed them in the dryer for 3 hours and returned them back.

Bought this jacket for my daughter for snowboarding. Biggest gripe is that the detachable hood has plastic snaps which are constantly coming unfastened. It was only a matter of time before she lost the hood altogether. Zippers are also plastic.
