I purchased this backpack to take with me to my daughter's volleyball tournaments and practices and have been using it several times a week. I love that it has a cooler in the front which easily holds a frozen Nalgene Tritan Wide-Mouth 16 oz., cup of yogurt and an apple with a bit of room to spare. Love the dual deep mesh topped water bottle pockets on the sides - even a tall water bottle/thermos will fit without falling out when I sit the pack down. When I need to I can even fit in my 17 inch Toshiba Satellite in the padded laptop area. The top *sunglasses* compartment is great for tissues, phone, keys, and other small items that need to be accessed quickly. The front organizer compartment is good for pens, a small notepad, a stash of ibuprofen and several other small items. Seems pretty comfortable on my back, even when completely full, although mostly I carry it on my forearm. (Note: I am under 5'3" tall.) Nice slim design doesn't take up too much room on the bleachers and has a stiff structure (probably from the padded laptop sleeve) that makes it stand upright well. Love Dakine's quality and the *Jasmine* print is pretty without being too *little girly*. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish this pack was a bit wider and had another storage area for bulkier items instead of the laptop sleeve (although I can fit papers or a flatly folded nylon jacket in the laptop sleeve). For what I was looking for this was the only backpack that came close to meeting my needs (and I looked EVERYWHERE!). Great product - would highly recommend and would purchase again.
Finally purchased a decent sized backpack for everyday use (vs my camping daypack). The Jewel is great - I love that the computer slot is it's own compartment rather than having to reach into the back of the backpack like other ones.
Plenty of space, the cooler pack is great and fits my mason jar smoothies in it, and the storage pocket surprisingly holds a lot if you don't mind stuffing it full.
I was worried about the straps in the front, but once I adjusted the backpack to my size the sternum straps can fit above the breastbone.
I like the print of the recycled bag - i'm a huge fan of paisley type stuff, and it's very unique and won't get hot in the sun since it's a lighter color.

I just got this backpack and it is really great. I almost never write reviews of stuff, but I love this backpack so much that I had to share. It has enough room for all of my books and my bike helmet, and I have been using the laptop compartment to hold my bike lock when I am riding. It also fits great and looks cute. Some other reviewers have said this is not a good choice for a petite woman, due to the size, but I am 5'2" with short legs and a long torso and it is fine for me. It is long with a lot of room up top, but it sits close to the body and seems to distribute weight well. Definitely recommend. I got it in Riviera.
I've used a couple of different backpacks during my college career before trying this one, and I'm sure it will be the last! It has everything I was looking for, as well as some features I didn't need but have grown to appreciate. The laptop pocket comfortably holds my 15 inch MacBook Pro, and the interior pocket is roomy enough to carry two thick textbooks and the notes for each. And due to some feature of design, I barely feel the weight on my shoulders. The outside pockets are a wonderful feature! I use the sunglasses pocket for my wallet, phone, and chapstick, and the cooler pouch holds my small bible and a portable hard drive securely. A bonus! The backpack is water resistant!

I love this item! It looks amazing and the zebra print is awesome. Its very unique and I have personally never seen anything like it. The pockets and great and the cooler is handly when I need a bit to eat. It holds a lot of stuff too, large compartments. The only thing I worry about is if someone will steal it cause its so awesome. haha
The only thing I would say about this backpack that is not so great, is that it falls forward. I'm not sure if I just dont have too much stuff in it but it tends to lean forward so I have to keep an eye on it.
Great product though, I would recomend it to anyone.
I love this backpack - especially the cooler compartment and sunglass pocket. I use it to haul my purse, lunchbox, water bottle, etc. into work every day, plus as a carry-on when traveling. Thinking about buying a second one just because I use it so much.
