I have had a pair of these pants for the past two years. I use them mostly for hiking and backpacking, even though they are comfortable enough to wear every day. They fit well and they are the perfect weight for those cool mornings, and hot afternoons. The only two things that I would improve are the front pockets and the belt. The front pockets are too shallow, and should be made bigger. The belt always seems to ride up over the top of the fabric when I wear them. They still fit good but it kind of looks bad. Overall I love these pants and recently bought two pairs for my Dad to play golf in.
Worn these on about 5 fall hikes now in temps ranging from 29 to 50 degrees here in the Olympic National Park. Needless to say there has been some brush tramping and a little rock scrambling and these pants perform great! Never any binding or bunching, very comfortable. They also shed water and dry very quickly. The belt is a little chincey so i only gave it 4 stars but it seems to work fine.All in all I would probably buy another pair. Hopefully I get to use them as shorts this coming summer!
