Outdoor Research Igneo Jacket Reviews:

Reviews:

I dig this Coat. This jacket is made for the wettest Northwest days and can withstand the elements all over the world. It's been my saving grace through storm days when it's just too good to go home. ;-) I love that the velcro cuffs can wrap around the thumb to keep the snow out. Also, the removable hood, chest vents and pocket placement make it a coat that you are glad to be wearing long after the adventure is over.

I wore this jacket for the first time while skiing on a very windy day, very windy at the top, in the 20's. With a t-shirt, fleece and the jacket all day long I never was cold and never was too warm. Couldn't feel the wind at all. I really like my jacket.
Bought it on S&C and for the price this jacket was a steal. For a casual skier it was just right.

I took this jacket out with me to Colorado. We skied at 13,000 feet with wind and I was not cold at all. The wind protection is fantastic. I did not use the hood, but was there as needed. It's nice it zips off too. Overall, love this jacket and highly recommend it.

It was definitely warmer than the alternative that I went with (Helly Hanson Zeta 2L HT), but the fit is big.
It is quite a bit "puffier" than it appears in the picture, and the fit is on the large side.
