This is the second pair of the North Face Betasso Sneakers that we have bought for my 5 year old daughter - she LOVES them and so do we! She outgrew the first pair that we bought when she was four and although they took lots of abuse, they still looked brand new. As a matter of fact, she accidently wore the old pair recently (even though they had to be tight, go figure!) because it was so hard to tell the difference. The first pair was bought in Maine, while on an RV trip in Bar Harbor, we accidently knocked one of her sneakers out of the RV and had to stop and pick up a new pair...best purchase ever! She insisted on the SAME EXACT sneaker this time when we were shopping for new ones (same color even!). SO easy for her to get on and tighten by herself and she claims they make her run really fast. HIGHLY recommended!!
I bought these for my 8 and 6 year old girls.They have loved them. From wearing them everyday to school to hiking in Moab and Mesa Verde, there has never been a complaint. For being very girly girls, they loved the style and the colors, too. I would recommend these to anyone who is lookin for a good hiking shoe for their girls.
My daughter can be picky, but she loves these shoes. They fit very true to size. They look great and are comfortable, what more do you want.I recommend these to anyone who has kids that tear apart shoes like mine do. These will hold up.

I purchased two pair, one for my 1st grader, one pair for my 4th grader. Both my girls are gentle with their shoes. Within 1 month my 4th graders right shoe (heel plate/support) was buckled over and would correct itself. I phoned NF directly and they said that they would replace the shoe but only with one of the same kind. Then preceded to tell be they were conveniently all out of her size. No refund, was offered. Will NEVER BUY ANOTHER NF PRODUCT AGAIN!!!
